The first time I went into an Anthropologie store, I was visually and emotionally overwhelmed. It felt as though someone had researched my interests, fashion, feelings, and aspirations and crafted them into a living display all available for purchase. Feelings I have about textures or scents were now captured in products I had to touch and hold.

Because of my fascination with their brand and success, I did some research on Anthropologie and found insightful advice on how to create an equally alluring space.

I don’t know if it was the discovery of gray in my husband’s hair or realizing I had made the shift from “mid” to “late” 20s, but suddenly my illusion of indestructible youth slipped away and each day seemed a countdown to 30 (I’ve got 2 more years if you’re curious).

After realizing our 2014 was filled with trips apart from each other or with our families, we made a pact to save our PTO for a trip together. When Greg and I lived in Spain, we were able to travel throughout Europe, but never made our way to Italy. A gondola ride and true Margherita Pizza have since been on my bucket list.
